Browsing Articles

There are a number of ways to browse the PEP WWW Archive.

Table of Contents

  1. Use the Table of Contents to browse the articles.
  2. Once in the document, you may use the Next Document and Prev Document buttons (found at the end of each document) to move through documents.
  3. You can use TOC Sync at any time to expand the table of contents to the same location that you are at in the text of the document collection.
  4. The Table of Contents can also be used to browse the Table of Journals and the Table of Authors.  Simply click on the entries for these at the beginning of the Table of Contents.

Browsing Search Results

  1. Select the Search Tab and specify a word search or more specific search for an article in the form.
  2. After performing the search by clicking the Search Button, view the results list in the Results Tab (which is automatically displayed) and click on the bibliographic entry for the article which interests you.
  3. You can use TOC Sync at any time to expand the table of contents to the same location that you are at in the text of the document collection.
  4. You can return to the results list after viewing an article by clicking on the Results Tab.

Cross Reference Links

Cross-Reference Links appear as colored underlined text in the articles.  Citations in articles bring up the full bibliographic reference, and within the reference, clicking on the link brings you to the article, if it is part of the PEP collection.  To return to the link launch point, click on the Back button on your web browser's toolbar.

Depending on the nature of the link, cross-reference links either take you directly to the destination article, or may popup supplementary information in another window.  When you are finished with this information, simply click on the X in the upper right corner of the PopUp window to close that window or click the Back icon on your web browser's toolbar.
