Select the Journal you want to look at by clicking on it. This will reveal a page of all the volumes. Click on a volume to access its articles, In this case let's select International Journal of Psychoanalysis, volume one. Your screen should look like this:
To view the articles in the volume with ease click on the blue pointers or scroll bar on the left side of the screen. In the above illustration, The International Journal of Psychoanalysis, volume 1 was selected - and we will now select The Psychogenesis of a Case of Female Homosexuality by Sigmund Freud by clicking on the title of the article. Note:
Because this is the first article that we are accessing, PEP Web will
ask you for your username and password (unless you are accessing PEP Web from within a subscribing institution, in which case you will not need to log in). Simply type them in and then
click "Login" and you will be able to carry on with your selection
and open the full-text.
To quickly return to the table of journals and to the list of volumes for the selected journal click on the "Contents" tab. Your screen should now look like this:
To return to the selected article click on the "Document" tab.
Click the Author Tab to search an author's work. Click on the first letter of the author's surname to access a list of their work.
(Note: you may still see the contents of the previously selected journal on the right-hand side. Don't worry - this will go away when you select an author) Now select the first letter of the author's name - say W, for Winnicott, D. W - and then scroll down using the right hand controls until you see his name.
Click on Winnicott, D.W and your screen will look like this:
Select the article "The Use of an Object" and click:
Click on the Books Tab to view the list of electronic books that are available to view. PEP Web also offers a wide selection of books online. To search by book:

To access the full text of the contents click on the red Roman numeral links. You will notice that:
