Mac customers

The PEP Archive 1 version 5 CD-ROM is not available for the MAC. We realize this is upsetting and irritating. However, the MAC OS X operating system is not properly downwardly compatible with earlier "Classic" versions and the Folio Views search engine used by PEP has not been updated to run on OS X.

To address this situation PEP is allowing MAC customers to access the highly claimed web version of PEP, which is not scheduled to be available for individual customers, who will have to pay an entry fee equivalent to purchasing previous PEP archives.

MACWEB is available only by annual subscription and only to registered MAC customers who were registered owners of the PEP Archive 1.4 CD or have paid a subsequent update or entrance fee. Subscriptions are for personal use. You may not use an individual MACWEB subscription to support institutional work. Institutions must purchase access themselves.

To maintain the right to subscribe to MACWEB it is necessary for all customers to renew annually without interruption. See http://p-e-p.org/macwebonline_subconditions.htm

The way you log-on to MACWEB is via a unique user name and password you will be given by PEP's systems. Click here for advice on accessing the PEP Archive online.

Online ordering for MAC customers will be available from this web page early in 2006. Click here to go to the orders page. Meanwhile, you may order via email or obtain further information if you contact: steph@p-e-p.org.

Upgrading to V6 (Freud)

MACWEB is scheduled to be set to A1v6, including the Freud Standard edition, in December 2006. 2007 subscriptions will carry an additional one-time levy for this material.
