PEP Author Prize 2011
In 2011 Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing announced a plan to recognise influential authors who are alive and published in the last 20 years on PEP Web by offering a monetary reward to the top downloaded authors of 2010. The individual prize amounts are proportionate to the number of downloads the articles of each author received in the year 2010. PEP’s success depends on the excellent scholarship of the contributors to its journals and the Board of PEP has decided to share its success and recognise its indebtedness to authors.
Prizes vary between $50 and $1,500. Many authors have responded to PEP in regards to notification of their prize, and cheques will be sent to them in February. However the authors listed below have not yet responded. PEP has made extensive efforts to reach them, but in the event this is unsuccessful any prizes not claimed will be used by the PEP board to support writing and reasearch in psychoanalysis in other ways. Authors have been sent email or a letter and need to be careful to check their junk mail or spam folders.
