People: Athena Tsiokris

Athena joined PEP in July 2006. She is responsible for handling university and group PEP-Web subscriptions. She provides relevant information depending on the size and needs of each organizations, discusses the options that are available and enables access once a decision is reached. She is also responsible for providing librarians and group organizers with renewal assistance and PEP-Web support worldwide. She also runs PEP-Web tutorials for organizations and groups in the United Kingdom. Athena attends conferences to provide information on PEP-Web and PEP DVD for both individuals and organizations. Lastly, she assists with research and testing for upgrading and improving PEP-Web for our current and future subscribers.

Athena has earned her BSc in Psychology at the University of Laverne, California and MSc in Research Methods in Psychology at University College London. She is currently working for PEP on a part-time basis, as she is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at University College London.
